Striped Skink

The skink photographed here was observed in a moist, highland garden. Based on some web searching and Pocket Guide to the Reptiles and Amphibians of East Africa (Sprawls et al.) it appears it might be a Striped Skink, Mabuya striata. Please communicate by email if you know this herp: mjplagens at
