Crowned Hornbill

A large bird with a large, conspicuous red bill. The raised casque on the top of the bill is larger in males than in females. The upper chest, back and wings are dull black while the belly and the tip of the long tail are white. These birds range from southern Kenya and eastern Tanzania. They feed on a variety of foods including insects, fruit and even small animals.
