Red-billed Hornbills are not bashful birds. They are keen to approach tourists and dining areas seeking food scraps. Widespread through Africa in savanna and grazing lands. Notice the solid red bill - not bicolored - and the white spots on the wings. The genus name, Tockus is a translation of the raucous calls the birds make.
