  • Range: This example was found in Kerio Valley, Kenya in the understory of a seasonally dry woodland.
  • Disc Flowers: The yellow disc flowers are numerous. The heads are small, about 10mm dia.
  • Ray Flowers: About a dozen yellow rays.
  • Phyllaries: A single series of, glabrous, narrow bracts are fused into a tight cup.
  • Pappus:
  • Leaves: The leaves have long petioles and a fan-shaped terminal lobe. Smooth, without hairs.
  • Herbaceous: Plants were small, about 10cm tall.
