  • Ray Flowers: ALL of the florets are bright yellow, including the rays.
  • Disc Flowers: These too are bright yellow.
  • Phyllaries: the phyllaries tightly enclose the florets and there is just a single rank of them.
  • Pappus: the seeds are topped with numerous, silky white filaments.
  • Leaves: The leaves have long petioles and a fan-shaped terminal lobe. Petioles and stems are pubescent.
