FLOWERS: Five large petals are uneven in size and may be yellow or white-cream.

TREE: Medium-sized tree with widely spreading branches provide welcome shade.

LEAVES: Leaves are twice compound with the final divisions as quite small leaflets.

RANGE: This tree is found mostly in semi-arid or seasonally dry habitats. It may be leafless during part of the dry season.

FRUIT: The flattened bean pods are long, rather wide, and mostly straight.

UNARMED. No thorns.
