Hippocratea (?)

Celastraceae, possibly Hippocratea, by Michael Plagens

Open shrub habitat near Lake Baringo, Kenya. Oct. 2016. I am quite uncertain of the identity of this plant and welcome any feedback.

LEAVES: Opposite leaves are simple, entire.

TREE: Small tree or shrub with long, pendulous, slender branches.

FLOWERS: Numerous pale white flowers with four or five small petals. Small panicle-like clusters.

RANGE:

UNARMED: No thorns were observed.

FRUIT: not seen
