Yellow Star Grass

Hypoxis obtusa ?

Observed among turf grass on the rim ot Menangai Crater, Nakuru, Kenya, Africa. March 2013.

The leaves are linear and clustered at ground level in a basal rosete. These are densely covered with soft pubescence. Rising above the grass-like leaves are small clusters of six-pointed yellow flowers, two or three per long, slender peduncle.
