Blue Lupine

Lupine has very characteristic leaves: Compound with leaflets arrayed in a pinwheel shape. This species has lance-shaped to linear leaflets. The above ground portions are herbacous and set with considerable pubescence. The flowers a bilaterially symetrical, blue in color, and are followed by turgid, upward-facing bean pods
