Observed in a mixed orchard garden, Kerio Valley, Kenya. Dec. 2014.

FRUIT: This tree is cultivated for its fleshy fruit which is yellow when ripe, about 10cm in diameter, and contains up to five big seeds.

TREE: A medium-sized small tree with smooth, gray bark.

LEAVES: Large simple leaves are elyptical in shape and have smooth margins. Alternate on stems.

RANGE: Native to Central America.
