LEAVES: The long-elliptical leaves are arranged on long, straight branchlets. Opposite on the stems and with smooth margins.

TREE: A small tree or shrub growing in the understory of moist montane woods.

FLOWERS:

RANGE: Large number of species distributed across Africa.

FRUIT: Mature into yellow-red berries.

UNARMED.
