Tribulus zeyheri (?)

Tribulus sp., in Kenya, photo © by Michael Plagens

Photographed near Voi, Kenya. 31 May 2017.

Like its more abundant relative, Puncture Vine, this plant grows along the open soil vine-like. The leaves are larger and less hirsute. The fruits are beset with more radial projections resulting in a geometric kaleidoscope.
