FLOWERS: The tubular flowers are arranged into spherical clusters of a dozen or more. White to yellow in color.

FRUIT: The fruits turn to dry capsules and several in each spherical cluster develop.

TREE: A small tree or shrub.

LEAVES: The dark green leaves are alternate on the stems, have smooth margins, and the undersides are white-scruffy.
