SUCCULENT SHRUB: Thick, silvery stems reach 50 cm tall forming many-stemmed clumps.

FLOWERS: The flowers are large and showy. Color is purple with darker throat.

LEAVES: The leaves are linear, about a cm wide and 10 cm long.

RANGE: This grassland/savanna plant is native to Kenya.

FRUIT: The fruits are dry capsules with typically four large seeds.

UNARMED.
