Upper Kerio Valley, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Kenya. Dec. 2014. Feeding on fruit in a Balanites tree.

The prominent white head crest on this large fruit-eating bird makes it easily recognizable. The dark tail is very ample. In Kenya, this bird is to be found in trees along river corridors in northwestern, lower elevation areas.
